I woke up this morning from a heavy dream experience... didn't know where the hell I was, what time, what planet, what universe... happens sometimes!
You have a point. How do I know that the "other existence," however bizarre, however different to this one... is not the real one... or one of many experiences that are all as real as each other?
Maybe our consciousness can adapt to any reality, even what we think are dream worlds, as well as it adapts to this one.
That said, it's obvious to me that many people are not having a great time with the adaptation experience in this shared reality. It's like a video game with winners and losers or maybe video games simply reflect the game-like properties of this experience.
Either way... how do we really know what's real and what isn't?
